Watercolour Landscape Workshop & Artists Retreats

Watercolour is a graceful medium, as light emanates from beneath the surface, connecting the painter and viewer to the multiple layers of translucent colours. This course will teach basic techniques specific to watercolour, as well as the fundamental principles that relate to all great design and composition. You will have the opportunity to put these principles and techniques into practice, so they start to become intuitive. This is an introductory course; however, you can work to your own skill level if more advanced.

Workshop supply kits are available from the instructor for $10.00 

They include everything you will need for the 1 Day workshop:

• Watercolour Paper 140lb. and 90lb cold press, 3 sheets 
• Palette: warm and cool versions of red, blue, and yellow, plus black and white
• Brushes: round, flat, and angle 
• Drawing pencil
• White magic eraser
• Mixing palette/plate
• 8”x 10” Matt for a 5”x7” painting
• Foam core board
• Instructional notes
